I'm teaching a class on the utilization of interpreters. I'd like to have a video (preferable) or a sound file (if that's all I can get) of Irish in use. Ideally, an interview or a documentary would fit the intent of my class. I'm having trouble downloading from you-tube (virtually impossible) and can't find anything on google video.

Any ideas??

Go raibh mile maith agaibh.

Try e-mailing TG4 to see whether they can send you anything.

The short film Fluent Dyphasia can be downloaded to PC/Mac, Ipod or PSP. It comes as a Mpeg which can be saved easily to disc and is playable on most DVD players.

James, a chara:

If you had a laptop with internet access, you could go to TG4's Web TV archives, pick a program and show it.
(I'm sure you've already thought about this option).

Ádh mór ort leis seo.

Paul, A Chara:

That would be my ideal option however, the "tech gestapo" have shut down access to streaming video. I have to go home, download it to a disc or jump drive and then show that on the computer in the classroom.

Le meas,

James
