Hi,
I'm looking to get a tattoo with the Ryan Family Motto:
"I would rather die than be disgraced" in Latin: "Malo mori quam foedari". I would like it in "Old Irish" if possible. Can anyone help with the translation?
Thanks!
Maureen

What do you mean by Old Irish?

Here is a genuine Old Irish version:

Is beó nech tar éis a anma, ocus ní beó d'éis a einigh.

If you mean Irsih as spoken today, it would be different, and you were given a version on another thread.
