http://www.rte.ie/news/index.html

To the right and down a bit is a hyperlink, "nuacht," which is anything but, as it hasn't been updated for months now.

In all honesty, I'm simply curious whether anybody else goes to this site in search of audio-visual news in Irish, or is it just me?

I ask because not very long ago, there was a true "news" program up online, in Irish, every single day without fail. Nowadays, however, the "news" is months old, just like the middle ages.

Is this how well RTE values the Irish language, do you think?

more that their online department is interrupt driven.

They tend to change things around and break them every now and then. I used to regularly send them e-mail about it when I was in Germany, and then it usually got fixed fairly quickly.

Aonghus, if you could write them a quick note again, I'd appreciate it. I reported the problem a little while ago and their news editor replied to me on April 26 that they'd be fixing it soon, but so far, no dice. The same clip has been playing for months now.

Honestly, I don't live to be a pest to the folks at RTE but this has to be an easy fix and it sends a terrible message about how they prioritize news in Irish.

I used to contact the (outsourced) online sectoin; but they don't seem to have a contact listed. Try .

It's better if someone actually using the service contacts them.
