I wanted to make this quote from the movie "National Treasure" my signature, but I wanted to have it translated into Irish... "If there's something wrong, those who have the ability to take action, have the responsibility to take action." Another version of this quote was... "If action needs to be taken, those who have the ability to take action, have the responsibility to take action." I had two suggestions to this and I was curious if anyone here could tell me what you think of the translations offered? I know that they might not be 100%, but I was looking for something close to this idea... "Má tá rud mi-cheart, iad suid gur feidir rud éigin a dhéanamh tá se de dhualgas orthu é sin a dhéanamh" "Má tá rud éigin cearr, tá sé de dhualgas orthu siúd atá ábalta, an scéal a leigheas." |

Má tá rud éigin (ar strae/cearr/mícheart), is dualgas orthu leis an ábaltacht leigheas a chur ar an rud.. A people without a language of its own is only half a nation.A nation should guard its language more than its territories, 'tis a surer barrier and a more important frontier than mountain or river
