Is anyone familiar with a course entitled "Cén Scéal?" (P. Ní Dhorchaí, ed. 1989)? It was mentioned by Thomas W. Ihde, ed., in "The Irish Language in the U.S."(1994). Each unit included authentic texts, activities with tape recordings, opportunities for written work, pair group, group work, grammatical points and proverbs. Perhaps some who have taught Irish have heard of it? |

I never heard of it.. A people without a language of its own is only half a nation.A nation should guard its language more than its territories, 'tis a surer barrier and a more important frontier than mountain or river
