Is mise amadán or completely disorganized...

Since I've returned home from the weekend and gone through my papers I can't locate the scholarship 2007 application.

Has anyone got a spare to mail me? I promise to make copies this time (lol!)

The link in articles is for the 2004 one, so I can't use that.

Míle buíochas
Lynn

Agus is mise amadán freisin, a Mhéabh. I have been searching high and low for my blue-covered notebook and handouts. My program guide with my name on it is in the 8 x 11 spiral bound notebook. I even called the retreat center to see if they had it in a lost and found. Do you think that I might be able to get a copy of your handouts since we were in the same class? My notes on what Daithí taught us are probably gone forever.

As to the application, I think you should change the date on the one at this website and use that if you do not get a new one. Good luck getting the scholarship.

I want to tell you again how much I enjoyed your singing and to thank you for posting my picture from a previous scéal grinn. Wait until you hear my next one. I started working on it alreadry! It looks like I will be able to come to the May Saturday program after all. Ethel and her team are to be congratulated for providing such a wonderful venue for us all.

Go raibh míle maith agat.

Le meas,

Maidhc aka Mike

Sure, I can make copies - if you don't mind that I've written some notes on them (especially the verb chart)

That would be great, Lynn! Do you have scanning capabilities or would you prefer snail mail? I would have to give you my address but that would be outside of this forum. Though I have no doubt a Google search of me would bring up my home address. And if you did one of me in Google images you would see that you are not the only photographer out there who has posted my portrait. Whatever way you think would work would work for me.

All the best.

Mike

Lynn -

Tabhair dom do sheoladh é-phoist agus cuirfidh mé chugat é.
Tá mo sheoladh é-phoist féin le fáil i mo "profile" ar an taobh chlé.

Go raibh maith agat, a Mhéabh. Labhair mé le Dan ag Marist Brothers Retreat Center. Níl mo leabhar acu. Cá bhfuil mo cóipleabhar? agus sigh.

Hold the presses, a Mhéabh! Thank you so much for making the copies. Please let me compensate you for your efforts. However, much to my delight, my notebook was discovered at the Marist Retreat Center after I had left. It was given to Ethel who will be sending it to me on Monday. She called me today to let me know. I had called the Center and sent e-mail to Liam at Daltai. The upside is that my house got more organized as I turned it upside-down looking for my material.

My wife, mother-in-law and I just got back from an Irish traditional music concert at our IACC club in East Haven. The singing and instrument playing were fantastic. Seamus and Damien Connelly and Josephine McNamarra were the headliners. We had a fabulous time.

Thank you again so much for reaching out to help me. Whatever you are having at our next get-together is on me.

Le meas,

Maidhc

Ah - is breá liom críoch maith! (Must have been those prayers to St. Anthony of Padua, hehe) I lost my wallet at the weekend last year, so I'm no stranger to what you're going through.
