A chairde,

[English translation below]

Is ceoltoir mé, agus rinne mé dhá dhlúthdhioscaí nua do fhoghlaimeóirí Ghaeilge. Bhí mé ag an Deiridh Seachtain Gaeilge, an deiridh seachtain seo chaite, le Daltaí na Gaeilge. Duirt Rath (múinteoir le Daltaí na Gaeilge) go bhfuil mé in ann eolas fúthu a cur sa forum seo.

Tá cúig dlúthdhioscaí agam ar fad, agus tá Gaeilge ar gach ceann, ach tá dhá níos fearr do fhoglaimeóirí Ghaeilge. Tá "Traditional Irish Gaelic Children's Songs" leabhar agus dlúthdhiosca leis na liricí, aistriúchán, ceol scríofa, agus pictiúr na gach amhrán ar an dlúthdhiosca. Tá tú in ann é a fhabhail ag www.cdbaby.com/caera2 . Tá "Suantraighe" díolaim súantraí i nGaeilge, Ghàidhlig (Gaeilge Albanach), Gaeilk (Gaeilge Mannainnis), Cymraeg (Breatnais), agus Sean Gaeilge. Tá na liricí agus aistriúcháin do gach ahmráin sa nótaí phóca. Tá tú in ann é a fhabhail ag www.cdbaby.com/caera4 .

Is féidir níos mó eolas fomham agus faoi mo cheol ag www.caera.info .

I am a musician, and I have made two new CD's for learners of the Irish language. I was at the Gaelic Immersion Weekend, this past weekend, with Daltaí na Gaeilge. Rath (a teacher with Daltaí na Gaeilge) said I could post information about them in this forum.

I have five CD's in all, and there is Irish on each of them, but two are better for learners of Irish. "Traditional Irish Gaelic Children's Songs" is a book and CD with the lyrics, translation, sheet music, and a picture of each song on the CD. You can get it (and hear samples from it) at www.cdbaby.com/caera2 . "Suantraighe" is a collection of Celtic lullabies in Irish, Scottish Gaelic, Manx, Welsh, and Old Irish. The lyrics and translation of each song are in the liner notes. You can find it (and hear samples) at www.cdbaby.com/caera4 .

For more information about me and my music, see www.caera.info .

Go raibh míle maith agaibh.
mise, le meas,
Caera

Mise freisin, a Fhearfeasog. Is breá liom ceol Caera! Is é an tslí is fearr liom teanga a fhoghlaim ná bheith ag éisteach le ceol. Tá sí go hiontach. Ceannaigí iad go léir, a chairde!

Agus bhí áthas ormsa a bualadh leatsa ag Esopus. Bhí an-chraic agam. D'fhoghlaim mé níos mó Gaeilge. Feicfidh mé go luath thú.

Le meas,

Maidhc
