Following one from that dicussion some weeks ago about classical irish and dative (bhord) vs accusative (mbord), stasis vs motion, and thuas vs suas, this article on Wiki:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Active-stative_language

got me thinking on where there are reminants today, and so, it might help learning.

Spatial adverbs have a static/active distinction. Does anyone know where else?

Céard faoi: Isteach > Istigh; Amach > Amuigh.

Agus b'fhéidir go mbeadh baint ag an gcórás

Suas/Anuas/Thuas - Síos/Aníos/Thíos

leis an ábhar seo comh maith, má thuigim i gceart stasis vs motion. Bheadh suim agam tuairimí daoine níos críona a chloisint faoi.
