Well, it's an effort. Tá Brian ina chaptaen ar an long; Ullmhaigí bhur mbagáiste chun seoladh gan mhoill. Bhíodh Brian beag, ach anois tá sé mór, Is soláthróidh sé féasta dúinn ar bord ...ar ball. I'm allowing myself the liberty of preferring a captain to a king. Nautical safety. It's 20 hours on the open ocean from Cherbourg to Rosslare, and I've seen some nasty storms as the ship turned the Isles of Scilly. (Cé an Ghaeilge orthu siúd?) I couldn't work in anything about the Dreolín. It's a given that if you travel by ship you must have money. It's an expensive business, after you've paid the fare. Anyway, I'd prefer to be persuaded to sit at the Captain's Table and give honour to that table by MY presence. :-) |

grmma, gach duine. "Nautical safety" ha! millteanach greannmhar! you're a funny one Pangur dubh. i havent much nautical experience myself, 'tho i did catch a ferry from ostend to s. england, wales to rosslare, larne to cairnryan...none being 20 hours, nor rough. the old boat across the moyle from b.castle to kintyre was rough enough, not to mention some of the curragh trips, esp. out to toraigh. muise! " It's a given that if you travel by ship you must have money" níl a thuilleadh airgid agam anois...clann mhór agam!....actually i never had any money, only good friends. tá mé buíoch as cuidiú sin. |

Sé a bhí i gceist agam ná seo: ar turas 20u. caithfear ithe. Agus caithfear an t-am a chaitheadh. Mar sin, isteach sa siopa agus sna bhialanna... Agus ar bord loinge íoctar i gcónaí níos mó ná mar i ngnath-siopa/bialann. |
