I noticed that some time ago there were several postings about this folksong. I have been working on the phonetic pronunciation of the entire song for our choir to sing by listening to Dolores Keane's rendition on CD and looking up every single word for pronunciation. I have been successful in finding all but the following words:

giopaithe
piocaithe
ciapaithe
chrainn
chaorthainn
rithead
craite

If anyone can help me with the phonetic pronunciations of any of these words, I would be very grateful.

Go raibh maith agat!

Jonni
