Dia Dhuit I have been asked to join an Irish Circle with some fluent speakers and others at a good level, I am very keen to learn but am afraid I will be out of dept. Any Advice would be appreciated. Thanks |

Give it a try a few times if you feel you are then find another circle I guess... 'Sé mo thuairim! (Message edited by podsers on February 03, 2007) Fáilte Roimh Cheartú

Give it a go. You are very lucky to be in a circle where you can listen to dialog. Good luck. Maidhc Is mise leabharlannaí Fáilte roimh cheartú mar beidh pé, beidh sé

A Amanda a chara, I must confess to the same delemma. I know of a group that gets together and speaks Irish in my area but I've been too scared to go and try it because my Irish is shamefully bad. After going to Ireland I finally got up the guts to join the beginner's class in my city but then I found out that it isn't offered again until Sept. so I'm waiting to do that. I know I should go to the conversational group but I'm skittish. Beir bua agus beannacht |
