How did you get the 'dots' to appear instead of 'h' in your messages?

EST is so obvious, but then I did not know that TG4 based it on a time zone in America, unless, of course, as you say, Aonghus, it is adjusted for where the schedule is seen. TG4 also lists the schedule in Military Time based on a 24 hour period. What threw me off was due to the gaps in TG4's schedule. Now there's a goal - 24 hour programming. And DVD's for sale of its programs. And a more robust archive of digital content.

I use a keyboard software called "Europatastatatur" which makes it very easy (altgr+. and c = ċ). It was made for German keyboards. But perhaps a similar software exists for English keyboards.

It is part of most fonts but hard to find, unfortunately even in Cló Gaelach fonts though long s and r are necessary there because both are the normal lower-case letters of s and r.
You can use SGML entity names in this forum. Just type in "#383" between "&" and ";" and you get a long s: ſ.
A long r is "#636": ɼ.

From what I've noticed, RTE is always exactly 8 hrs. ahead of me, even when we have daylight savings time. Does the time in Ireland change depending on the time of year as it does on the West Coast of America or am I just not paying enough attention.
