I don't. But I have it at home. What does it need to say to work? I know it's region something, but... |

The US & Canada are region 1, Europe is region 2. I believe that DVDs can also be made with no region restriction, and I think that some DVDs from different regions can still be played on a PC. (I am not an expert on this, however, so if someone else could confirm, I'd appreciate it.) Nicole Apostola http://cuisle.blogspot.com

Yeah, I have it right in front of me but t doesn't say anything about the regions on the disc itself, as far as I can see. I find all DVDs play on the computer and there are multi-regional DVD players available. Just curious to see if any Americans had bought the disc already and if it plays OK on your standard DVD players.. I love the film and will be buying another couple to send as a present for my Dad. He doesn't speak but the odd word of Irish but I know he'll love the film - |

It's also being offered by Irish Books & Media in the US: http://www.irishbook.com/vIndex.htm?item4021.htm You might be able to ask them; they are extremely helpful. I would assume that if they are offering it that it is able to be played on our DVD players. Nicole Apostola http://cuisle.blogspot.com

I bought a Mise Éire DVD from Irish Books & Media a few months ago and it's playing just fine on my "Region 1" player here in the New Mexico. |

The case from my DVD says that it plays in all regions (it is also from Irish Books & Media in Minneapolis) so it works here in the U.S. and will work back in Ireland. It is written on the back of the case in the bottom right corner if you are looking for it. It's the first DVD I've owned that can move with me to Ireland and will actually play in a standard DVD player. In fact, it is the only DVD I own that can be played in all regions. I don't know why movie studios can't make universally adaptable DVDs in this age when international residence is pretty common. |
