Has anyone purchased this book yet? Its just come out this month. Its by Eammon O Donaill and comes with a 48 page book and 3 cds.

The publisher says it's due out 23 Feb. next year:

They may have had to move the date, as I see they've a different author than originally planned.

I almost per-ordered it at Amazon but saw that there were sellers that already had it in stock. Not sure which author it is using but Ill let you know.

I haven't seen this one (of course) but I've seen a few other Teach Yourself [Language] Conversation. Based on those, I would not recommend this to anyone.

Ordinarily I would agree wholeheartedly with Jonas - the Teach Yourself Irish course seems almost deliberately designed to thwart one's success. (The T.Y.Irish Grammar is marginally better).

However, since this appears to be an audio only course, it may be worth checking out. Sounds like a variation on the Pimsleur method.
