I am having a terrible trouble tying to understand what the Irish man is saying in this video. I want to know what the girl's name is.

I think he says "agus beidh amhrán sean nós ann ó Mhairead Ní Fhlaithbheartaigh as ceantar Spidéal i gConamara."

Am I semi-right or wrong or what!?

Guh rev/row moh/my/ agwiv/agwee. (sorry, I've forgotten which dialect is is which!)

Go raibh maith agaibh.

I think your are spot on in your translation. Incidentally, this was taken from a TG4 episode. If you go to their web-site you'll find quite a few of these musical/cultural spots.

Sorry...took a bit of a break and now I'm back.....

Most of the other spots on that "YourTube" page are taken directly from the TG4 series. It's a bit misleading to see them posted on "YourTube" but...hey, gaeilge abu!

I really enjoyed that, GRMA for posting it. I'm a singer and I enjoyed making up a harmony to go along with her singing while I was listening.
