I take it these sentances are correct when using cúpla and a singular form to mean plural:

cúpla leabhar (couple of books)

cúpla leabhar buí (couple of yellow books)

But I dont know whether one keeps the singular form all the way to the end for adjectives too, or goes to a plural at the end -->

cúpla leabhar buí beag (couple of small yellow books)

cúpla leabhar buí beaga (couple of small yellow books)



Also:


dhá bhó bhuí bheag

dhá chat bhuí beag

is there a difference for the dual between masc and fem?

The thing after "cúpla" stays in its nominative case form:

cúpla deoch (rather than "cúpla dí")
cúpla lá (seachas "cúpla lae")

I'm not aware of any exceptions with regard to trailing adjectives, but my guess would be that everything stays in the nominative:

cúpla deoch dheas
cúpla lá maith
cúpla fuinneog bhriste
cúpla doras mór
