quote:Cur sé (for example:) áthas air...
Actually, that's
Cuireann sé áthas air.
If you want to cite this idiom in a general way, the formula we use in dictionaries and so on is:
áthas a chur ar X So, for example:
Ba mhaith liom áthas a chur ort. = I would like to make you happy.
Chuir tú áthas orm. = You made me happy.
quote:Is there any other way to say this?
Instead of "áthas", you could say, but less commonly, "gliondar".
quote:Can I say "it makes him aroused/excited" using cur + ar?
Well, there's this, which is slightly X-rated:
Cuireann sé adharc air.
