The Good News: Me and Shoshana voted for Celtic Spring!

The Bad News: The show was on at 8 o'clock New Mexico time so we didn't actually get to see them. I thought they were coming on at 9:00 so I went for a walk and didn't get back in time. Fortunately, I caught the last few minutes of the show and was still able to vote for them anyway - whew!

Go raibh míle maith agaibh. Sorry I didn't get the details right. The group is going to need those votes because they didn't get chosen by the judges. They put on a wonderful spirited performance and I was so proud watching them but in a way I'm glad you didn't see it.

In the way of many programs that are successful of late, they have one bully to cause a reaction. In this case it was a "nasty' judge. It's all done to get an audience reaction and ratings but the judge told some of the kids that they had to sack Mom and Dad and little brother if they wanted to win. It was hard to watch the tears that flowed on stage.

On the plus side their music and dancing was incredible.

It so sweet of you to remember me. It was hard for me to imagine your friends talking to the judges. The rest of the show (for the most part) was pretty obnoxious. I swear that a lot of the "arguments" were staged. I really liked the burlesque dancer. It was horrible the way they treated her. The only woman on the panel was also the most repressed and by saying "that belongs across the street" was like saying she was dirt. The one guy who did like her was all gross and drooling.

I haven't seen t.v. in so long that I was analyzing all that. Anyway I think it's cool that they were able to even get into something like that!

Nope, I just tried that and it needs a newer version of macromedia flash player. If you go to NBC.com (not on Daltaí) and then click '9:00pm All New America's Got Talent' and scroll down to the bottom left you can find a video of their performance. I had to use explorer. It didn't work when I tried to open it with Firefox and I had to download the newer version of macromedia flash player but it was worth it to see the good part again.
The results will be on tonight's show (9:00pm my time) and they'll post their results on NBC.com Fingers crossed again. I'll have no nails left.
Yep, I agree with your assessment of what you saw. The show doesn't do anything for me but I wish them well. They've worked so hard for so long.
