Were mentioned on another thread:

They do excellent work - they have follow up clubs during the year for people who go on their courses in summer.

Ahh... Colaiste na Bhfiann.

I spent a few great summers with these guys when I was a schoolboy.. I was in Rath Carain in Co Meath and Ros Muc in Galway, they were some of the best summers I had...

Feel old now saying this but it was over 20 years ago.. I bet all the old lot have left or passed away.

Fabulous organisation apart from the military element that Danny insisted on.. marching up to the flag in the morning and singing the national anthem and the Colaiste na Bhfainn song...

Oh well, for every upside there is a down I suppose. I wonder if Padraig is still running it, Danny must be dead by now.. He really was a character, a lot of fun and the first man ever to make me understand that this language and culture of mine was not just a 40 min class in school.. it was a way of life that has existed for over three thousand years and is only getting into its stride..

Long may it continue and long may it keep its beliefs. It was a strict and hard teacher but the lessons once learnt, have stayed with me forever.

Tóg go bog é, a cara!

Wow, sounds like an awesome program! I love how strict they are; one complete sentence in English and you're sent home!! I wonder if that applies for all languages .. or only English? If only my highschool Spanish class had been taught this way. It's great to know that there are such serious organizations out there. Thanks for the link Aonghus.
