A chairde,

The Gaeilgeoirí will be out in force at the largest Irish Festival in New Jersey, this coming Sunday, June 25th, from 9am to 6pm at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, NJ (Garden State Pkwy Exit 116). We hope you can join us to show the world that Irish Tongues are already Wagging in the U.S., to re-phrase the title of a recent NY Times article.

Promoting the language at Irish Festivals has been the most successful way Daltaí na Gaeilge has found to introduce newcomers to an Ghaeilge. Every summer we meet new people who say they always wanted to learn the language. They may begin by attending a few classes or an immersion program, and end up becoming completely involved with the language. And whenever the Irish Language is in the news we find we have even more visitors who are curious about the language of their ancestors.

Our purpose in attending these festivals is solely to promote an Ghaeilge. If you're in the area, why not come out and meet the members of Daltaí na Gaeilge, and possibly even help out at our language booth for a spell. Tagaigí agus bígí ag caint linn!

Admission is free, and you will find our table under the tent with the vendors. There will be a Mass at 10am if you wish to attend. And of course, there's great music and dancing all throughout the day.

Come join us as we spread the word about the classes and programs where the Irish Language is being taught. Help us show the world that Irish Tongues are already wagging, as Gaeilge, right here in New Jersey.

Feicfidh muid ansin sibh !!!
Daltaí na Gaeilge
