Hello.... i am shooting a movie and i need two translations, could someone PLEASE help me. i would even give a copy of the movie and credit on it as well. first translation: " you are dead to me " second translation: " only god can give you the help you need " i need this translated from english to irish. thank you very much for your time. slainte. -Conor |

Tá tú marbh, de réir gach cosúlacht! is one way of saying "you are, or appear, dead!" and Go bhfóire Dia ort! is one (quite common) way of saying "God help you!" Larry Ackerman

(1) You are dead to me If it's said with a cold, monotonal voice, it would be: Tá tú marbh domsa. If it's said with a bit of drama, perhaps angrily, then it would be: Marbh atá tú domsa! (2) Only God can give you the help you need Dia amháin is féidir leis an chabhair atá de dhíth ort a thabhairt duit. Fáilte Roimh Cheartúcháin Correct me for the love of God... thank you all very much....it is greatly appreciated. not that it truly matters for the fact that is going to be seen in the film written....for myself i would really love to know the correct pronunciation...is there a way in writing that you would be able to do so in laymens terms? thank you for your time , it is greatly appreciated!!! |
