Dooes anyone know of a link for spelling/translating Irish names. My wife and I are down to Regan and Gavin for our kid. I want to know if there are any variants for spelling and other names. Unfortunately, I like "Brogan" but since my last name is "Knob' (i'm not joking) that wouldnt be nice. (Actually, Xavier was my first choice but that didnt sound rite either)

Also, what are some strong Irish names other than Hugh or Rory. I love my name and remember reading that if your name was Damien in Ulster you were definetely not a fan of the crown.

Thanks.
(I'm from the Clavin clan; 90+ cousins and growing!!)
