Does such a thing exist? I did a search on Google and I came across this:

"ITÉ is nearing completion of the first Irish-Spanish-Irish dictionary to be published... The diccionario/foclóir should be available to the public by the end of 2003." http://www.ite.ie/nua/spandic.htm

The company has gone in to liquidation http://www.ite.ie/

Does anyone know if this was ever published? Are there any other Irish-Spanish-Irish dictionaries around?

Níl a fhios agam an bhfuil an foclóir sin ann, nó céard a tharla dó, ach bheadh suim agamsa ann freisin. Bheadh a fhios ag David Barnwell, gan dabht, más féidir leat dul i dteagmháil leis. Is dócha go bhfuil an fhaisnéis seo as dáta:

Ach is dócha go bhfuil Dr. Barnwell i mBÁC fós.

Carmen Rodriguez a Galician lady active in the above group and a member of the ITE can tell you more about their project to create an Irish-Spanish dictionary..the last time she was telling me that they were looking for a publisher for their dictionary..would be cool to see one..might be a help to convince my fiancée to pick up more Irish ;)

Hi Diarmo,

http://es.groups.yahoo.com/group/grupogaelico/

An bhfuil suim acu i nGaeilge nó i nGàidhlig? Chuaigh mé go dtí an suíomh sin agus fuair mé an nath seo:

Tir nam Beann, 's nan Gleann, 's nan Gaisgeach

Gaeilge na hAlban is ea é, ar ndóigh. Ní deir an descripción ach "la lengua gaélica", rud nach bhfuil soiléir go hiomlán. An bhfuil tusa páirteach ann?
