i want to learn to speak gaelic and i know a bit of it. "hello", "goodbye", "how are you", etc...
do you know any good penpal sites that are free that i can learn Gaeilge? that would be helpful. thank you

How long... It could take a while. Because of the way Tandem is set up, Irish is particularly at a disadvantage. I'm not familiar with any other site, no.

But, one easy suggestion is for you to just post something here at Daltaí. Start a conversation thread, and say something in Irish, and someone will respond. It is fairly common around here.
