Hi,
as part of my thesis I am doing a little language training site. My submission stated that I must use training based on native or very fluent speakers, just so I get it idiomatic.
The site I have is not polished jet, but it is workable. One must look at the scene and describe it as a series of propositions, such as 'the cat is under the horse' or near pripositons, 'tá an bheirt [capall agus cat] os coinne an fhéileacáin'.
In other words statements, but with no verbs.
The crute interface means that one has to click 'back' to do the next image. This stage is like a pilot bit to see how people react to sillouttes (that is, can they elicit the desired response). In fact, I have decided (for time reasons) to omit the genitive and other forms, so the other pilot bits are irrelvant. Only dative/prepositions will be done.
PS. Thanks to Aonghus for pointing out the problems with the 'case engine'. A lot of mistakes were due copying and populaitng cells to speed up making it. Also, aimsir and Gallimh were not the right sort of nouns to use in such an excercise!
