A chairde: I've forgotten the greeting / blessing you give when a friend gets a new house and (another gets) a boat. I'm thinking along the lines of "go mairir is go gcathair" you say when someone gets a new suit. Any idea? Gor raibh maith agaibh.

Sin agat é. "Go mairir agus go gcaithir é!" Lasmuigh de Chúige Mumhan, deirtear "Go maire tú é agus go gcaithe tú é!"
