Hello!

First I want to apologize for my bad English, but I'll try to formulate my question either.

A friend of mine is a smith and is learning (or trying to learn) gealic for several years.
Now, I want to design a kind of poster for his workshop with a saying, or blessing.
Something like "good luck for your work" but a little bit more poetic ;-)

not long ago I found something about "celtic triads", but unfortunately this site is no longer online.
There was a so called "triade" about the profession of the smith, too.
I can only remember the following words " to lift up to a nemed"...

It would be really kind if someone would/could help me!

best wishes....Stefanie

I didn't find that one, but here is another (Seanfhocail na Mumhan #2301)

Na trí súile is géire:
Súil na circe i ndiaidh an ghráinne,
Súil an ghabha i ndiaidh an tairne,
Agus súil ainnire i ndiaidh a grá ghíl.

The three sharpest eyes:
Eye of hen on grain,
Eye of smith on nail,
Eye of belle on her beloved.

Here is one in Old Irish from Dennis' site:
