I was reading a book a while back called "The Celts" and in one area of the book. The Roman army had just been attacked and pretty well beatin up. The Romans then found that the Celts were going to invade soon after. At that time the Romans called a meating with the Celtic leader and asked him. How can you attack us at such a time. At which point the Celt replied "To the brave, belong all things". i would like to have that translated for a new tattoo. the problem im having is the the translation of ownership in Irish. I would like in translated in such a way that it still implies as close as possible the original meaning, so that there is no guess work to someone reading it as to what it means.

Not to be picky, but you seem to be mixing a singular preposition with a plural predicate.
An mbeadh 'leo' níos ceart ansin ?

Think of how it English, you have "an apple" instead of "a apple".

Similarly, in Gaeilge:
You don't have: Bhí sé le an mbuachaill
But instead: Bhí sé leis an mbuachaill

Same thing happens with "na":
You don't have: Bhí sé le na buachaillí
But instead: Bhí sé leis na buachaillí

Note that even though the "leis" here bears a striking resemblance to "le + é = leis", it doesn't have anything to do with it.

Another example is: D'eitil sé tríd an bhfuinneog. ("tríd" instead of "trí").
