I am just uploading lessons 6,7 and 8 to http://aia.gaeilge.org/audiofiles/

The trial version I was using before has elapsed, so I have used a different tool & cannot tweak them.

Agus tá slaghdán fós orm!

GRMA, a Aonghuis!

The volume's a bit low (I think it was on your first few recordings as well). As I recall Aaron gave us some pointers on remedies to this:
http://www.daltai.com/cgi-sys/cgiwrap/daltai/discus/show.pl?tpc=20&post=31750#PO ST31750

I don't know if his software was freeware or not, though.

Yes, it's freeware, which I can highly recommend:

Audio recorder and editor I used on the volume:

http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

mp3 encoder:

http://winlame.sourceforge.net/

I'll be happy to try and adjust the volume on the files, either today or maybe tomorrow.

Tá 6,7 agus 8 leasaithe agam, agus 9 agus 10 curtha leo.

Bainigí taitneamh astu. GRMA as an nod maidir le hAudacity, a Aaron.

A Aonghuis agus a Robert --

Go raibh maith agaibh as ucht bhur gcuid oibre. Any more in the works? ;-)

Would ye mind if I let some of the other online learner lists know that these resources are available? I know that many students are hungry for audio material that's short, clear & simple, and these little stories are just that.

Amen to that cead mile. These little stories are the greatest thing since sliced bread. Go raibh maith agaibh, y'all.

Reading about Sambo an fear grinn turns out to be a lot more helpful than learning to ask cá bhfaigheann tú an traein go Baile Atha Cliath agus cá bhfuil seomra folcha?

As far as I'm concerned, the recordings are public domain.

I plan to keep adding to them, as and when I have time - but that's on my home computer, which I only use once or twice a week. Also, when the kids are in bed to avoid background noise!

I thought so, too. One never knows when one might meet a clown.
