The following was a Christmas greeting on the front page of The National Hibernian Digest November-December issue.
(Le gach deá ghuí í gcomhair na Nollag agus na h-Aithblíana.) I think that it has errors in it.
Should it be?
(Le guí mhaith i gcomhair Um Nollaig agus An Athbhliain.)

Presuming that it's pronounced pretty much like that, only that it's spelled wrong, I'd say it's:

Le gach dea-ghuí i gcomhair na Nollag agus na hAthbhliana.

Fáilte Roimh Cheartúcháin

Maybe:

Le gach dea-ghuí i gcomhair na Nollag agus na hAthbhliana.
/ l´e gax d´aɣiː i gõːr´ nə NoLəg ogəs nə haf´L´iənə /

Tír Chonaill abú!

On the windows of Arnotts, BAC, it says "Nollaig mhaith agus athbhliain......"
Never heard that..

Bhuel dá laghad is cabhair.. Gaeilge bhriste and blah d blah

A people without a language of its own is only half a nation.A nation should guard its language more than its territories, 'tis a surer barrier and a more important frontier than mountain or river
