Could someone please help me with a word? I just finished a book by Roddy Doyle, and while I could figure out most of the Irish words he uses, I didn't understand this one and can't find it in the online dictionaries:

Maithú

Looks like a contraction of "maith thú" which loosely translates as "good for you!"
