I need some help with translating these 3 sentences. I have started them but can't get any further.
Corrections welcome.

1.Nach b’fhearr a fhad polasaí dearfach nuálach a chur I bhfeidhm sular dtógfar cur chuige damáisteach cosúil le fail le riachtanas na Gaeilge.
Wouldn’t it be far better to enforce positive new policies before…??....

2.Sin an fath a gcreidim gur fiú go mór Acht na Gaeilge a bheith againn ó thuaidh.
That’s the reason that I believe that…???.....

3.Tá sé ar bharr a mhaitheasa ina ionad nua mar lán-chúaí.
He is ..??.. in his new role as full back.

is fiú go mór - well worth

"ar bharr a mhaitheasa" - on top of his form/at his best

(I think) there are some typos in 1 so I'm not sure what your problem is.

GRMA, a Aonghuis,
So does this make sense, corrections welcome.

Sin an fath a gcreidim gur fiú go mór Acht na Gaeilge a bheith againn ó thuaidh.
That’s the reason that I believe that the Irish language Act is well worth us from the north having.

"1.Nach b’fhearr a fhad polasaí dearfach nuálach a chur i bhfeidhm sular dtógfar cur chuige damáisteach cosúil le fail le riachtanas na Gaeilge"

It seems to me that there is a word missing here - réidh - "nach b'fhearr a fhad polasaí dearfach nuálach a chur i bhfeidhm sular dtógfar cur chuige damáisteach cosúil le fáil réidh le riachtanas na Gaeilge."

(Wouldn’t it be far better to enforce positive new policies before engaging on a damaging process like getting rid of compulsory Irish).

Overall, I think it is poor quality Irish, ach sin scéal eile.
