Táim ag léamh Learning Another Language Through Actions: The Complete Teacher's Guidebook. Tá na ceachtanna suimiúil. Is maith liom iad do ag foghlaim Gaeilge. Even though this book is not geared toward learning a specific language, I find the techniques discussed and sample lessons adaptable to learning Irish. Most of the published materials I have seen so far employ the model of learn a little vocabulary, grammar, and conversation, and then learn more, using the familiar reading, writing, and speaking method of learning. Besides listening to speakers (Internet websites, video, television, radio, people, immersion activities ...), writing, reading, and taking classes, are there other techniques that you have used to become more masterful? I am thinking along the lines of notecards, self-administered quizzes, puzzles, games, etc. Does anyone have and use these type of home made learning aids or techniques? Also, how do people incorporate the use of Irish learning aids like flash cards and such into the traditional pattern of classroom-type learning? In short, I am curious about other ways people are learning Irish. Go raibh maith agaibh i gcónaí. |

Do it socially... Téigh chuig Chlub an Chonartha / Tráth na gCeist éigin / Club Sult &rl.. A people without a language of its own is only half a nation.A nation should guard its language more than its territories, 'tis a surer barrier and a more important frontier than mountain or river
