Hi! I wonder what's the difference between "leagan" on the one hand and "aistriú"/"aistriúchán" on the other? Am I right to say that "leagan" is the result of "translation", i.e. text, and "aistriú"/"aistriúchán" is the process itself and profession, but not the result?
And -
Am I right again to say that the constructions with adjectives - what one can freely use in English ("Irish translation" and the like) - are not used in Irish ("leagan Gaeilge", not *"leagan Gaelach")?

"leagan" is a version.

Gaelach as an adjective does not mean of the language, but of the country/race/people.
