Hi, Could someone tell me where do the fada's go on the names Niamh and Nuala. Dozens of sites on Irish names but they don't give the spelling with fada's which I think is a disgrace! Labreen, Saor Ulaidh!

There isn't any síneadh fada in Modern Irish in the names Nuala and Niamh. Not all Irish words have síntí fada, you know ! ;-)

Tír Chonaill abú!

The long vowel sound in "Niamh" is achieved by the "ia" combination, and the long vowel sound in "Nuala" is achieved by the "ua" combination. No fada's necessary!
