Beginning with this post (hopefully) you will see two new icons in the upper right corner of the message area: a large A and a small A. Clicking on the large A will increase the font size of the message area of the board to 18px for easier reading for those with failing eyesight or a really large monitor resolution. The change is set in a cookie and hence is persistent. Also, at the suggestion of Aonghus and others, I have added a "Gaelach" tag to the board. The tag will set the font of the enclosed text to: Bunchló, Bunchló Ársa, Bunchló Ársa GC and GaillimhLS, in that order. It can be invoked as follows: \gaelach{gaelach text here.} gaelach text here. Please let me know if there are any problems. Caoimhín (Message edited by Caoimhín on October 29, 2005) Tír gan teanga, tír gan anam.

I also don't know how you guys put borders around parts of posts when you're quoting them, or make smiley faces either. P.S. I also see that in copying to my post, part of Kevin's post does not reappear. gaelach text here. |

Ní dóigh liom go bhfuil leigheas ar sin, go dtí go mbíonn unicode fairsing. |

Is féidir liom "díreach" a fheiceíl in "dírea¥" agus "bhí" in "¢í" gan aon dua, bíodh is gur amscaí an chuma atá ar aon téacs atá breactha leo. Ach don duine atá ag streachailt leis an teanga a thugann cuairt orainn anseo, níl sna comharthaí sin ach constaic. |

A Caoimhín, Last week when I went on the Daltaí site all the printing was in gaeilic letters. Now I see regular letters. I didn't see your post until after the 29th. Before I saw your post I thought I did something to my computer to make the letters change to gaeilge letters. Now I just regular letters and I wonder why? I am computer illterate as you can see. Mairín, for a while Bunchló was a default font - you saw the site in Gaelic letters if you had the font installed. But now you only see it if the person writing the message chooses it to be that way - by using a special tag. This paragraph should be in gaelic letters on your machine You will get that by putting \gaelach before your text, and enclosing it in brackets { } - like this |
