GRMAgat a Aonghuis.

>>>> Is gá dúinn ansin aghaidh a thabhairt ar an bpobal eile sin atá INA TROMLACH sa nGaeltacht faoi láthair - NACH LABHRAÍONN an Ghaeilge ó lá go lá. Tá spriocanna dúshlánacha leagtha amach againn. Is duine mise atá dóchasach ó nádúr. Creidim go láidir ins an bhfealsúnacht seo agus creidim gur féidir an taoille a chasadh!

--- Braithfidh aon dul chun cinn sa Ghaeltacht ar a mhacasamhail i nGalltacht na hÉireann. Sníonn gach cumacht, gach nós agus gach coincheap siar as an nGalltacht chun na Gaeltachta. Bhí Conamara in ann seasamh in aghaidh na taoille níos fearr ná ceantracha eile, ach .... is é croí an scéil, ceist ama agus athraithe sa Ghalltacht. Caithfear gabháil i bhfeidhm tuilleadh ar mhuintir Ghaeilge agus Bhéarla na Galltachta. Céim chun tosaigh is ea Acht na dTeangacha Oifigiúla agus Stádas a bheith aici.
Caithfidh dhá iompú tarlú sa Ghalltacht:

(A) muintir na Gaeilge a chur ag labhairt Gaeilge; ní leor í a bheith ina teanga rúnda idir chairde, cé gur thús é san am a caitheadh; caithfear í a bheith le clos agus a bheith le feiceáil sa timpeall cathrach;
agus
(B) muintir an Bhéarla a mhealladh lena gcuid féin a dhéanamh den teanga.

Goirbaitsobh?

B'fhearr liom Rosa Pearcs na Gaeilge. Duine a dhiúltadh a seas Gaeilge a thabhairt suas do meon is neart an Bhéarla.

N'fheadar conas a fhuaimnítear "jh" ach fuaimnítear an t-ainm sin Gorbachev - Горбачев - mar "garbatseof" IPA [g@rba'Cof]

Canúint? [g@rba'Cof] - Ní heo é an chaoi a bhfuaimníonn sé féin a shloinne: deireann sé le "gh" ag tosach an fhocail é, mar 'GharbaitsEOf' Is as deisceart na Rúisise é :)
Le meas

"Is as deisceart na Rúisise é"

An é? :-) Sa chás san, tá an ceart agat. Deirtear GarbaitsEOf i Moscow fós agus is é sin an "canúint" atá agam-sa, ach tá a fhios agam go bhfuil an g ait acu sa dheisceart. :-)

Mo dhearmad: "as deisceart na Rúise", cinnte. Níl a fhios 'am cén fáth nar scríobh mé mar sin é.
Cé as thú, an Éireannach thú?
