Seán Ó Dálaigh

Could one construe it as /s'a:N o: da:Li:/ due to the /d/ been dental, so the 'n' in Seán becomes /N/ in anticiaption and one (for a lash) puts in /L/ too fior 'l'?

Which dialect? I'm afraid that what you've given there is a mix of Donegal and Connemara Irish.

Donegal: /s'æ:n ə dæ:li/
Connemara, maybe /s'a:N o: da:Lə/ ?
