1. Mar sin féin ní ceart baint de bhua Chiarraí.
Nevertheless ??? of Kerrys victory. or
Nevertheless ??? by virtue of Kerry

2. Is léir go bhfuil achan fhoireann eile chomh fada sin ar chúl Chelsea gurbh fhada uathu an Chraobh a thabhairt leo i mbliana.
It is clear that every other team are that far behind Chelsea that they would want ??long?? to give the Championship to them this year.

3. Cuireann an dóigh a dtáinig biseach ar Chelsea isteach ar roinnt mhaith dhaoine.
The way Chelsea have improved to bring in several good people.
In number 3 is 'cuireann'linked to 'biseach ar' or 'isteach ar'??

Corrections or suggestions are welcome

baint de - to reduce, or talk down

Nevertheless, one should not diminish Kerry's victory (The county, not the senator, lest I get flamed)

is fada uaim é - it is out of my reach

cuir isteach air - to put upon, to upset

The way that Chelsea was improved upsets many people

This is totally off-topic, but since you mentioned John Kerry, you might be interested in how he got his name.

From About.com:

Fritz Kohn (John Kerry's Grandfather)

Fritz and Otto excelled in their studies in Vienna. However, like other Jews, they suffered greatly from the anti-Semitism that prevailed in Europe at this time. As a result, both Kohn brothers abandoned their Jewish heritage and converted to Roman Catholicism.

In addition, in 1897, Otto decided to shed the Jewish-sounding name of Kohn. He chose a new name by dropping a pencil on a map. The pencil landed on Ireland's County Kerry. In 1901, Fritz followed his brother’s example and officially changed his name to Frederick Kerry.

The whole story is here:
http://judaism.about.com/od/jewishgenealogy/a/jewpas_kerry.htm

Irish or not, he got my vote.

"Irish or not, he got my vote."

Well, when the other fella's George Bush, it shouldn't be hard to get people's vote. Or so you'd think.

(P.S. He mentioned Kerry, the county, specifically the Gaelic Football team, not John Kerry, but the county was mentioned, so no harm.)

No, I wouldn't think that way at all. And fortunately enough other Americans didn't think that way either, enough to defeat the liberals and Dems once again.

VICTORY IS SWEET, ONCE AGAIN!!!

Is fíor duit, ach tá díomá orthu anois de réir na bpobalbhreitheanna: 58% negative, 40% positive sa Harris Poll i ndeireadh mhí Lúnasa, in alt ar an Wall Street Journal. Is dócha go bhfuil sé níos measa fós inniu.

Well done, you scored a petty victory and helped kill hundreds of thousands and push many more into poverty all over the world, especially your own country. Now, does not letting a certain community have civil rights make that feel better? I imagine it does, and that you don't really care about the first part.

A Dalta - Where are the hundreds of thousands dead? And where did we cause world poverty? And which community is denied civil rights? Facts, please so we can know exactly what you refer to.
