THE MAYHEM OF NEW ORLEANS: The Mayhem (Maidhm, Maoim (Sc-G) : a burst, a rupture, an eruption or breach; a cataclysm, a breaking surge; an explosion or a crash; (act of) destroying; defeating; a rout; an explosion) of New Orleans has torn the media mask from the Bush puss (pus, lips, mouth, fig. face) for all the world to see. The Hoo Doo (Uath Dubh, dark specter, evil phantom; violent terror) of Congo Square will stalk Bush Junior and his Mórgachta Mórgacht (Muckety Muck, Proud, Vain Majesties and "Highnesses") Satraps and swank (somhaoineach, valuable, wealthy) shameless Cronies (Comh-róghna, mutual "sweethearts," fellow-chosen ones) to waterless Ifreann. Isea : 30:13 léireofar daoibh an cion seo a bheith mar a bheadh balla ard agus gág anuas ann, bolg amach air agus é i ríocht titim, a dtagann maidhm air go tobann, i seal faiteadh súl, therefore this iniquity shall be to you like a breach ready to fall, swelling out in a high wall, whose breaking comes suddenly in an instant. ++ Matha: 28:2 Agus bhí maidhm mhór talún ann, mar thuirling aingeal an Tiarna ó neamh agus tháinig ag iompú na cloiche siar agus shuigh sé uirthi. Behold, there was a great earthquake, for an angel of the Lord descended from the sky, and came and rolled away the stone from the door, and sat on it. Sam2: 5:20 Chuaigh Dáiví go Bál Parázaím agus bhuaigh sé ansiúd orthu. Dúirt Dáiví "Rinne an Tiarna maidhm i líne mo namhad faoi mar a dhéanfadh tuile na habhann." Uime sin a tugadh Bál Parázaím (nó Maidhm an Tiarna) ar an áit sin. David came to Baal Perazim, and David struck them there; and he said, Yahweh has broken my enemies before me, like the breach of waters. Therefore he called the name of that place Baal Perazim. Maidhm an Tiarna - foirfe. Maidhm, maoim: O'Donaill, p. 817; Dineen, pp. 696-697) Maoin, Dwelly, p. 629 DC

Sea, agus ní raibh aon áit faoi uisce roimhe seo. Yeah, cause nowhere's ever flooded before. |

Relax, friend, James. A careful look at official rescue plans throughout the US (including Louisianna) will reveal that the primary responsibility for relief in natural disasters rests with the State and local governments -- not with the president. The originator of this thread probably isn't aware of this fact in addition to not being clear regarding the difference between Bush and God. Don't bite, a chara. The bait is a rubber worm. |

Well stated, A Phádraig. Lost in the political mayhem is the fact that the city's evacuation/disaster plan was all but ignored by city officials. Hundreds of city transport busses remained idle as the flood waters rose. I guess we could say Ray Nagin (the mayor) fiddled while New Orleans sank. Ray is to New Orleans as Nero was to Rome. But...I said I wouldn't bite, so I won't. |

Look, this is bad manners. Dancas1 is not been obnoxious; he is merely using a set of positions on Bush to hang a generated ethmological set of certain slang Mericano terms, that may or may not be Gaelic derived. It does no ill to hear it out. This buddy WWF-style assult pattern was enacted before, and James, it left you off the site for a long time. Also, above, there is creative use of the language, regardless of historical accuracy (of which there are little/no records with which to verify) |

Robert, You're absolutely wrong about Dancas1's remarks. For example, quote:The Mayhem (Maidhm, Maoim (Sc-G) : a burst, a rupture, an eruption or breach; a cataclysm, a breaking surge; an explosion or a crash; (act of) destroying; defeating; a rout; an explosion) of New Orleans has torn the media mask from the Bush puss (pus, lips, mouth, fig. face) for all the world to see. Now that's obnoxious. James is only defending President Bush, which makes sense, since he's been attacked by Dancas1. It's a shame that the left-wingers and other President Bush haters always have to start some attack on other members' political views. IT'S ALWAYS THE LEFT WINGERS AND OTHER PRESIDENT BUSH HATERS THAT START POLITICAL ATTACKS ON THIS WEBSITE! James is doing the only sensible thing; he's defending against attack. Something should be done to prevent left-wingers and the other President Bush haters from posting their drivel on this site. Thanks James for standing up for President Bush while being attacked by Dancas1 above. Dáithí Le meas, Dáithí FRC - Fáilte Roimh Cheartúcháin
