If you would like to receive correction for your Irish, then stick "FRC" at the bottom of your posts, which shall stand for "Fáilte Roimh Cheartúcháin".

If there's no "FRC", there'll be no correction.

I just added FRC as part of my signature, which I think is a great idea. As a beginning learner of Irish, I appreciate members correcting my Irish. I find Fear na mbróg's elaborations to be quite helpful. In fact, I even appreciate members correcting my English grammer also....um...I mean my English grammar :)

It might be helpful to indicate what level of learner you are; just a thought.

Either way, there is an interesting framework for determining this that is available in Irish and English at the addresses listed below. It's very useful in teaching and learning, allowing you to pinpoint what you can do and what you can't and breaking learning down into five communicative skills and six levels of proficiency.
