Dia daoibh.
Meetup.com is a Web site that provides a forum for people to meet once a month to discuss topics of common interest. I am the Organizer of the New York Irish Language Meetup. We meet just for conversation in Irish, and some in English. Speakers at all levels/all dialects are welcome. The next "meetup" will be next Monday, August 22, 2005 at 7:00 PM. For information on the location, visit:
http://irish.meetup.com/10/events/4748313/

It's free to register for the Irish Language Meetup; they you can RSVP Yes, No, or Maybe for the event. Each "meetup" costs only a few dollars (pay in cash at the event). Hope to see you there! Slan, Tania

Hi Tania,
Thanks for the link and info, I will need to get started abit before I can chat, but it sounds great. I had hoped to try the 22nd but my Grandma passed away so perhaps the next one. I appreciate it. Marla
