Cuir d'ainm úsáideora MSN anseo, má tá ceann agat agus cuirfimid seisiún cómhrá le céile, ceapaim go bhfuil tú in ann seomra cainte a thosnú le MSN.

mo cheannsa, ach níl aon Chaint Bhéal agam.

Put your MSN user name here and we'll start a chat session, and learners will be able to get help.
Mine is above, but I've no voice chat.

I've no voice chat currently, but I'm hoping to have that capability this fall when I move.

Now, people should know: I've just started learning, so don't expect deep conversations, all I know is the weather ;)

I'd highly recommened avoiding anything related to MSN at all costs. If you want to do a chat then find another client.

G'day,
ive been trying to get something like this going for a while now and finally ive found some willing participants. I have both MSN messenger and voice chat that can be utilised a number of different ways. The best being an internet telephone system called Skype that can easily be downloaded from www.skype.com for free. This program alows people to make unlimited voice calls to anyone in the world with the program for free.

Anyway my MSN email is . Please feel free to add me to your list but remember my Irish is still quite undeveloped. I look forward to chatting soon!

Diarmuid

I'll have Skype in the fall (hopefully), when I'm on a better connection. Right now though, I'm mainly interested in written chats...it gives me spelling and time to look in a dictionary if I become confused.

Another possibility would be to use something like this:

http://chateverywhere.sourceforge.net/index.html

...and just install it here at Daltaí. I haven't set up this particular application, but it looks like it might be just right.

Just an idea...

Incidentally, I use something called "gaim" to chat with. It's here:

http://gaim.sourceforge.net/about.php
