Hi Mary,

If I understand you question correctly, you're referring to the webtv section on TG4's website. If so, then the asnwer would be yes. That is, you can subscribe to the webtv section on TG4's website for about $10 per month. You then access the available programs by going to www.TG4.ie, logging in, and then clicking on the program that you want to watch. It's very much like going to any other website, but once you click on one of the listed programs (Ros na Run, for example), it will open a video screen and start playing the TV program that you have selected. I have a subscription and enjoy it very much. Some of the programs have subtitles in English. If you have a slow computer connection (like a low-speed modem), the programs may load slowly. I'm fortunate to have high-speed, broadband access, so the TV programs load quickly enough.

The only downside is that the screen that plays on your computer screen is not that big (about 3 in X 3 in). I asked them about this and they said it was a compromise because of the different computer-access speeds that people have. But, still in all, the screen is big enough to see what's going on.

Hope this helps,

Dáithí

Daithi, Thank you, it does help, indeed. I was hoping to watch on my regular TV. My computer is a dinosaur (no sound) and I am not computer savvy, otherwise I would have figured how to add fadas to your name, please excuse me. Thank you again,
All the best,
Mary

Hi Mary,

If you're looking to watch on your regular TV, I hear that the Philadelpia area has Ros na Rún on cable - I don't know which channel. Maybe some of the other members have info on other areas where TG4's programs are available on regular TV.
