ok here we go again! i was trying to find a verb on the the Irish Dictionary on line (tm) there was a link for a free Irish download, i downloaded it. what i was wondering was how accurate are the pronunciations. I ask this as I am learning on my own. IT is NOT possible for me to take clssses or make any purchases right now (saving for a house in seattle very expensive market here @$400,000 average price where i want to live) the simple question is how accurate is the pronunciation? |

did you go to the irish festival the week before st. paddys day. i went. it had an irish course, where he told us about irish, even though he didnt seem to know a whole lot. anyway, there are classes in kirkland i believe, if you ever feel like taking them. Bad move buying in seattle, i live in lynnwood and they sell for 250,000 350,000. try a lil north, might be a bit cheaper, and its only an extra few minutes of a drive. Oh ya. The pronunciation is pretty good as far as im concerned. |

I do not want drive and spending a lot of time on metrokc does not sound like fun. like being able to walk or take local busses...and having to work at the evil empire on rotating shifts so i want to stay aound the CD and 520 and all of the volunter work do is in town too so i dont want to be spending my lif in the car ;) Diarmo what are prices like in Dublin? $400,000 will get you maybe 900 sq ft with a small patio in the area i want. what is the total area for the money in Dublin? |

That 900 square feet would cost you $125,000 to $150,000 in some really nice neighborhoods in north central Georgia. What are you thinking of? If you were building, that $400K would be $444 per sq. ft. I could build a palace at that rate. |

I dunno. I'm living in CA (not by choice) in the LA area. I thought I was going to have a heart attack when I saw the house prices here. $400K buys a shed out this way. Anywho..... They are having a immersion weekend in S.F. in a few months, those in the area should register and check it out. (I lost the link, as I will not be able to make it). |
