When sending written greetings - "with love" or "love" to a grand-son or grand-daughter do you use Le searc or le grá/ghrá? Buíochas. |

"Le grá," would be how I'd close a letter. If you want to add a name then it's "Le grá ó (Name)" Most non-Irish names can be left unaltered, but if you are using the Irish form of a name, I'm sure the folks here can tell you the whole phrase. "Love, Nan" for example would be "Le grá ó Mhamó" "Love, Grandda" = "Le grá ó Dhaideo" (Message edited by Méabh on May 23, 2005) |
