Tit seacht amanna, éirigh arís ocht.
There's probably a better idiom for it though.

The difference between the two is the same as:

A) He fell twice

B) He fell two times

(ie. there's no "real" difference)

An-spéisiúl...
Is seanfhocal Siopánais é sin, sílim.
Timpeall déich mbliana ó shin,
bhí mo phost caillte agam, is
thug mo dhéirfiúr cuireadh do bialann Siopáineach dom
chun mo mhodh a éirigh. Nuair a bhíomar ann,
thug an freastalaí mugaí le tae glas dúinn.
Thosaigh mo dhéirifiúr ag gaire, a ‘ra:
deir na characters ar na mugaí “Fall down
7 times, get up 8.” [tá Siopánais aici...]

Paul
