A chairde,

Does anyone know how someone in the U.S. could get a hold of any films as Gaeilge? I've managed to locate a copy of "Poitín", and I've purchased Turas Teanga. Aside from this though, my search is fruitless. Thanks ahead of time.

Slán,

Harrison

How did you get Poitín? It's a great film.

It is hard to get films. I'm not aware of any that are commercially available. The Film Board is providing schools with a DVD of shorts from teh Oscailt series, but they have no immediate plans to make it more widely available.

On the Gaeilge B mailing list, I asked if anyone knew where to buy Poitín. This woman replied saying she has a copy and would be willing to send me a copy if I paid the postage. It was quite the lucky break, but I have a desire to see more films (or tv shows) as Gaeilge.

Slán,

Harrison
