Congrats to the Leitrim people who obtained official permission yesterday for a gaelscoil which shall open next Sept. in Carrickonshannon.

While Leitrim is the last of the 32 cos. to obtain a gaelscoil, one may be reminded that the population of the co. totals in or about 25,000. The influence of the gaelscoil ought to be all the greater.
