Thanks, Seosamh, for your generous solidarity and encouragement to the only Irish American Cultural Festival in North America, featuring the work of Irish American film makers, poets, dancers, musicians, writers, scholars, Irish language activists, etc. Please do shout it out like Sweeney from tree tops: "Irish America is culturally alive. Tonight at The Crossroads, the west coast premiere of The Irish American film "Beautiful Kid" with Frank McCourt playing a Bronx bookie along with a cast of aspiring young local NYC actors It is co-directed and co-written by Irish novelist and NYC resident Colm McCann and produced by the Gaelforce musician and film maker Patrick McCullough.
